  1. I have done a great deal of camping out in Australia, all around the countryside. It is a country with small odds of being interfered with by other humans, as the country is sparsely populated relative to size, so you can really get to isolated places easily just off the main road. Crocodiles, spiders, and snakes are a concern, but seldom encountered with simple cautions. Have a zip up tent with no holes. Be careful of camping near waterways. Don’t run in the tall grass, and in general keep your eyes open. Perhaps just luck, but I have never had a problem,even living off a bicycle for up to six months at a time out there in a little tent.
