Interesting the idea of a ghost in the first place being a soul caught in some kind of purgatory or in between state, similar to a life force of descriptions transferring in a reincarnational journey of a kind. I understand the immortal soul to be introduced to the Bible by Greeks initially, though Babylon ancients had similar concepts. Good stuff for Hollywood to use, or medieval incantators of anything for that matter. Booooooo!
